Join a Fast-Growing DTC Consumer Brand (IG: @capyera)

Capy-Era designs and sells plushies, apparel, and lifestyle accessories to the global market. We currently operate on Shopify and are launching Amazon FBA and TikTok Shop in 2026. We grew 250% YoY in Year 2 and are on track for 150-200% growth this year.

This is our first operations hire. You'll own the entire supply chain, from production to customer delivery, while building and scale our multi-channel fulfilment foundation.

What You'll Own:

End-to-End Supply Chain Operations:

Coordinate suppliers on production schedules, samples, quality control, and resolve operational issues

Manage warehouse operations and export documentation

Forecast demand and plan replenishment orders

Coordinate international freight (sea/air)

Report weekly on inventory health and operational performance

Vendor & Partner Management:

Source, vet, and onboard service providers (QC agents, freight forwarders, customs brokers, inspection companies)

Negotiate rates and terms with logistics partners

Evaluate and switch providers fast when performance or pricing doesn't meet standards

Build and maintain relationships with key service partners

Multi-Channel Fulfillment:

Shopify (Current): Coordinate fulfillment and scale operations

Amazon FBA & TikTok Shop (Launching 2026): Set up from scratch, plan inventory, manage shipments

Monitor inventory across all channels and prevent stockouts

Build systems that work seamlessly across platforms

Expectations:

Solo operator for first 12 months, hands-on problem solving and building

You'll build these channels from scratch, not inherit existing operations

Fast-changing environment, create the playbook as you go

Dynamic priorities based on what needs attention most

Direct accountability for keeping products in stock and orders flowing

Must Have:

A minimum of 5 years in operations, logistics, or supply chain

Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken + written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Comfortable with rapid change and ambiguity

Self-starter who learns independently and communicates proactively

Preferable Background:

Consumer products: you've worked with products that end consumers buy and use, such as:

Apparel, fashion, or accessories

Beauty products, cosmetics, or personal care

Lifestyle goods, toys, or home products

Consumer electronics or gadgets

DTC brands or ecommerce retail

This role is NOT a fit if your experience is primarily in:

Industrial supply chains (components, raw materials, B2B manufacturing)

Heavy industry (steel, automotive parts, machinery, construction materials)

Commodity or ingredient supply (chemicals, plastics, industrial textiles)

We sell finished products to individual customers, not components to other businesses.

Nice to Have:

Experience with China sourcing and fulfillment (DTC/ecommerce preferred)

Lived through rapid growth (50%+ YoY)

Amazon FBA, Shopify fulfillment experience or familiar with Shopee/Lazada operations

Has launched new sales channels from scratch

Not a Fit If You:

Can't work without clear documentation

Prefer managing people over hands-on execution, you'll be solo for first year

Want predictable, slow-growth environment, we're scaling 150-200% this year

Work Environment:

Remote-first (WFH), with KL office visits only when essential (meetings, onboarding, urgent issues)

Core hours 9am-6pm, but expect supplier calls outside hours (early mornings/evenings for international timezone)

Weekend work during peak season (Nov, Dec, Jan)
