The Role:
for a Senior Platform Engineer with deep specialized knowledge in Kubernetes to architect and scale high-performance, on-premise infrastructure for our clients. You will own the design of internal developer platforms that power mission-critical services. You are the perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, passionate about technical excellence, and thrive on turning innovative ideas into scalable, production-ready products.
What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, with a proven track record of managing non-managed (on-prem) clusters. Expert knowledge of Helm (v3), including creating custom templates, hooks, and managing complex dependencies. Strong proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for provisioning hardware and configuring nodes.
Deep understanding of CNI providers (Calico, Cilium, or Flannel) and experience managing TLS certificates via Cert-Manager. Advanced Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/RHEL), including kernel tuning for high-performance container workloads. High proficiency in Go or Python for building custom Kubernetes operators or automation tools.
Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones. Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and scale production-grade Kubernetes clusters within our private data centers (Bare Metal or VMware). Develop and maintain a library of complex Helm charts to standardize how our teams deploy and manage their applications.
Use Terraform and Ansible to automate the provisioning and configuration of our physical and virtual infrastructure. Implement and tune CNI providers (e.g., Calico or Cilium) and manage enterprise-grade security via RBAC, Network Policies, and Vault. Configure CSI drivers for local/distributed storage solutions (Ceph, Longhorn, or NetApp) to ensure data persistence and performance.
Own the Prometheus/Grafana and ELK stacks to provide deep visibility into cluster health and application metrics. ..
